Laura Rutledge

 Laura Rutledge, born October 2 1988, works as a journalist for ESPN and SEC Network. Laura Rutledge is an American beauty titleholder for a pageant in St. Petersburg, Florida and was named Miss Florida 2012. She was named Miss Florida on July 7 the 7th of July, 2012 when she was presented with her crown by her titleholder, who is retiring, Kristina Janolo. She was also a ballet dancer. Rutledge is an alumni of the University of Florida, having graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Rutledge was also an active Zeta Tau Alpha member. She currently works for ESPN and has been featured on numerous shows which include "SEC Nation" the SEC Network college football pre-game program, as well as "NFL Live".

She is the middle child in a family of seven. Her father, Herman Paffrath (also an actor), was her middle child. When she was a kid, her family performed newscasts and plays at family's parties. Her mother enrolled her into jazz, ballet and tap class when she was just three years old.  Paffrath was a Missouri School of Journalism student. Paffrath also worked as an intern for Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles. Paffrath earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2005. She relocated to Los Angeles early in 2006.

Her middle name was later changed into Claire. Her father, Man Shun ("Horace") Ho, is Chinese. Ho studied at the University of London, receiving a (B.Sc Physics and applied Mathematics; M.Sc Computer Science). Christiane (nee Nicolette), her mother, is French. Her family relocated from France to Toronto, Canada, when she was five years old. Holt was a student at St. Joseph's Morrow Park Catholic secondary school located in Willowdale.
