Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage and film actress. She gained fame after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who,' a British science-fiction television show. Gugu earned a significant amount of recognition for her role as Tish Jones, the sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the series. People loved Gugu's vibrant energy and spontaneity. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 75th, 1975, in Livingston, New Jersey. She was the youngest child within a household of six. Handler's parents were both homemakers. Her father was an auto dealer. Her mother is German who came to the United States from Germany in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in 1989. She died a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler was raised in a Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler had a happy and healthy growing up in an affluent community. At the age of 19 she moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Handler began her career as an actress in order in order to help her. Handler, who was then at the age of 21, decided to focus on stand-up comics full time following her discovery of storytelling. Handler's professional career started as part of an all-female Oxygen television cast on the hidden camera/practical humor reality series Girls Behaving Unstably. The show was on the air from 2002 until 2005. The handler began to appear in other shows such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler also began working as a corresponded on The Tonight Show. Her breakthrough occurred in 2006, after she started hosting her own program on E! The show was called Chelsea Handler. The show ran for a total of two seasons. In the following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up shows. In 2010, she confirmed that she would host at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. With this, she became the first woman to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
